Two teenagers have been charged with the stabbing of a 15 year-old girl at Kennedy Plaza early Thursday evening. Providence Police said the victim was stabbed in the leg around 5:00 p.m. and transported to Hasbro Children's Hospital, where she is in stable condition.

Firefighters in Providence battled a fire at one home twice in one night. The fire broke out in a two-story house on Superior Street just after 5 p.m. Wednesday and rekindled at about 10 p.m. The Red Cross assisted seven adults and six children who lived in the home. Three dogs were rescued, but two pets did not survive.
